H.O.T. Equestrian Academy offers Western horseback riding lessons for riders of all skill levels who are ages 4+. We have lesson horses for use or you can bring your own horse to our facility located just a quick 20 minute drive from Waco. Equipment, including helmets, saddles, etc. are included in the lesson. Full and Half Leases of our lesson horses are available for pre-approved riders who would like more riding time.
Students will progress using our proven curriculum
and positive coaching! There are 6 levels of
instruction that cover:

Handling horses

Grooming and tacking up (saddling)

Preparing for a lesson with lunging or round pen work

Horsemanship and equitation

Basic riding foundation, then specialization (Reining, Barrels, etc)

Drills and exercises to develop a balanced, independent seat, and confidence
